Ortners passable H2O2 material airlocks are suitable as cleanroom compatible decontamination systems for the aseptic introduction or introduction of heat- labile material.

The fast and gentle bio- decontamination with gaseous hydrogen peroxide runs fully automatically. The innovative nozzle system accelerates the gas inlet and outlet as well as the gas distribution within the chamber.

The airlock can be installed as a steplessly accessible version or as a variant on an existing floor. Different loading systems facilitate the daily handling in the airlock area.

The airlock can be easily operated via an intuitively structured user interface using a touch- screen panel. All processes can additionally be controlled and monitored via visualizations.

For safe handling of highly active substances. Cytostatic isolators from Ortner are modular, closed systems for the safe production, processing and manipulation of cytostatics and other highly active substances, such as antibiotics or hormones.

When handling toxic substances, the safety of people as well as the environment is a concern. The product itself must also be protected from contamination. The use of special air ducting and work via glove intervention ensures consistent separation of the operator and the process.

Isolator in negative pressure operation. A negative pressure (-10 to -100 Pa) prevails in the cytostatic isolator, which prevents substances from escaping to the outside in the event of minimal leakage. A quick- acting airlock can be connected to the left and right of the isolator for the inward and outward transfer of materials. Internal automatic sliding doors also allow easy loading and unloading of the airlocks.

The removal of especially small particles from surfaces or textiles is technologically highly demanding. Extensive studies by universities and research institutes have shown the limited efficiency of conventional personnel air showers and demonstrate new methods for the efficient removal of particles from cleanroom garments.

Vibrations support the removal process. Ortner JET nozzle technology, for example, enables particles on clothing to be detached or sheared off by means of a pulse and vibration effect. The laminar displacement flow causes efficient particle removal and thus prevents possible re-contamination of the person.
